Punch Tarmey’s is an authentic Irish Pub at the heart of Southport that honours the owners great grandfather Michael Tarmey, a champion boxer of the early 1900’s that earn him the nickname Punch Tarmey, after whom the bar is named.
Solarcrown Commercial has recently refurbished all LED Lighting within the Irish bar that complements the pubs interior theme, including both modern and traditional LED fittings, within these areas.
Pub Lounge and Social Seating Areas
We fitted the luxury seating spaces with daylight LED consisting of 8W E27 WW Dimmable Squirrel Cage Lamps and 5W SES WW Dimmable Candle Lamps. These warm white fittings offer a cosy environment for social occasions that suit the Irish theme of the establishment.
By using dimmable lighting, it allows control of specific lamps being switched off or set to lower light intensities during daytime hours or for specific lighting requirements, all the while having the benefit of saving energy for the business.
Bar and Storage Area
Solarcrown Commercial also installed GU10 IP44 Fire Rated LED Downlights with the seating and bar areas. These modern spotlights are easy to install into ceiling spaces and don’t distract from the authentic environment. The bar area was also installed with 4.8w/m Standard output NON IP amber LED Strips that add coloured mood lighting to storage areas around the bar that fit into the pubs authentic Irish theme. The storage areas are equipped with modern energy efficient 600×600 Professional LED Panels and 12W IP54 LED Windsor Decorative Fittings. These fittings were installed to allow safe access to the properties storage areas.
Exterior Lighting
We also installed exterior 50W 4000lm and 80W 6400lm LED Floodlights that add security and safety to the property during nighttime hours.
