Solarcrown Commercial (SCC) have recently renewed their contract for the 9th year running as the specified supplier of LED downlights to award winning house builder Redrow Homes. Solarcrown Commercial have developed the product to meet the exact specifications requested by Redrow Homes, in regard to light output and colour ambiance.

The Approach – What we Did
Hard to believe a decade has nearly passed since we were awarded our 1st contract back in 2013. During this time, we have had to adapt our products and services to maintain our position as the nominated provider to such a prestigious client. We have constantly strived to develop improvements in our products, listening to the concerns and taking feedback from Redrow contractors and clients alike. Improvements have led to faster and more effective installation times, robust stock availability, an on-time delivery supply chain for all involved.
In a fast-moving industry SCC has kept abreast of changing lighting technology, which in turn has led to a significant improvement in light output of the luminaires without increasing the energy consumption of the fitting and lamp.

During this time SCC has worked with Redrow to acknowledge and implement lighting technology developments, demanding changes in construction practises and safety standards and most importantly customer’s needs.
