Solarcrown Commercial certified under MCS's redeveloped Installer Scheme

Solarcrown Commercial has been certified under MCS’s newly redeveloped Installer Scheme, the framework that sets the standard for small-scale renewable energy installers across the UK.

MCS redesigned the scheme following industry feedback and public consultation, aiming to keep pace with a fast-growing renewable energy sector while putting quality and consumer protection first. The new scheme moves to a risk-based approach to assessment, gives certified installers a more direct working relationship with MCS, and centralises how complaints are handled, all aimed at building confidence in the installers behind home-grown energy.

For our customers, MCS certification ensures we have independent verification that our solar PV installations meet recognised technical and safety standards, which, for many projects, is a requirement for accessing government incentives and export payments. The redeveloped scheme adds a more streamlined, transparent process behind that certification, without changing the standards we’re assessed against.

We’ll continue to display the MCS Certification Mark across our work and communications as a mark of that standard. If you’re planning a solar PV project and want to know more about what MCS certification means for you, get in touch with our team.
