Position: Technical Sales Consultant (Solar / Renewables)
Location: North West (Hybrid)
Salary: £35,000–£40,000 base (OTE up to £80,000) + Uncapped Commission + Progression Opportunities
About the Role
Solarcrown Commercial is seeking an experienced and motivated Technical Sales Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in Solar PV and Low Energy Lighting solutions, along with a proven ability to engage clients through a consultative sales approach.
You will be responsible for identifying and developing opportunities across the commercial renewables sector, working with a mix of warm leads and established industry relationships. This hybrid role offers flexibility and the chance to work with end clients, mechanical and electrical consultants, and building management professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and sell commercial Solar PV and Low Energy Intelligent Lighting systems
Develop and maintain relationships with end users, consultants, and contractors
Provide technical advice and tailored proposals aligned with client needs
Identify new business opportunities in the commercial renewables sector
Support the full sales cycle, from lead qualification to closing
Requirements
Demonstrable experience in commercial Solar PV or energy-efficient lighting
Strong communication and technical presentation skills
A consultative, client-focused sales approach
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
