Solarcrown Commercial were appointed via Architectural Services – Bury Council to upgrade all lighting at The Villa to new energy efficient LED Lighting.
Working as both principle Designer and Contractor Solarcrown commercial transformed the lighting to the multi-use office site, including a CCTV Control Room with specific lighting requirements for security operations including Remote Dimmable AR111 LED Spot Lights. All luminaires were replaced on a like for like basis under the Reallies framework for procure plus.
The LED lighting upgrade also incorporated an emergency lighting upgrade that was required to bring the emergency lighting in line with BS5266-1. The savings based on full occupancy boasts a 5.67 year payback which qualified the project for an interest free loan incentive that is offered from the Architectural Services Department of Bury Council for energy saving projects into Bury Council Buildings.
